Hi, I’m Millie, an interdisciplinary graphic designer in my final year at Chelsea College of Arts, studying Graphic Design Communication.
Newspaper
This newspaper was created to spark conversation and create a space for Northernness to be recognised, appreciated, and understood. Through research, interviews, and cultural analysis, it challenges stereotypes, media portrayals, and class perceptions, giving visibility to voices often overlooked. It explores my own regional identity and sense of belonging since moving to the South.
D&AD
A Gen Z-focused campaign for ON, celebrating chefs as athletes of the kitchen. Backed by Swiss engineering, built for those always on their feet. A D&AD submission that redefines performance wear by challenging where and how we see athleticism — through the lens of everyday grind.
Student-led Industry Talks at UAL
I helped lead and produce a series of weekly industry talks at Chelsea College of Arts. We developed the visual identity and branding for ‘Reframe’. The talks featured industry professionals from a range of creative backgrounds who shared insights into their work, career paths, and creative processes.
The Next Challenge
An interview-based documentary that recounts the experiences of my aunt and uncle, Laura and Tim, who spent over a year cycling around the world. Their journey provides a narrative of how meaningful interactions and shared generosity can foster deeper understanding and connection among people from diverse backgrounds.
Side Hustle
Alongside developing my design practice, I have been working on my photography. Over the past couple years, I’ve been taking images capturing the fleeting moments of every day life, focusing on architectural elements and people.
